Semester Final Exam - Period 3

Photo Website

Favorite Blog Post

This is best photo because it has many elements of art and rules of composition, like pattern, texture, shape, background, etc. Also the model was very comfortable which helped make the picture come out the way it did. Afterward I was able to edit it with aperture and the results were great.

Advantages of working in groups

  • Different ideas are offered
  • Extra models
  • Being social
Disadvantages of working in groups
  • Some may not participate
  • Some may be absent and be behind
  • One probably does more work than others

"Picture perfect".

Henri Cartier-Bresson focused on the geometry of pictures, being patient and working with one lens during his time.

This semester I would like to continue working with people but take pictures in a different location other than the quad or hallways. Also I'd like it if we spent more time taking pictures.

I honestly don't know why Farley has a "Hecka Free Zone" because I've never heard him use that term nor do I know what he means by it. But from what I think it is, I don't think he has a Hecka Free Zone because he only lets us stay in the Pitt or hallways for a certain amount of time.

First Semester Final Gruop Project

This was my first photo and I told Rudy to stay still. Which is what he did exactly.

Crystal here was in the  middle of a conversation and I tried to capture her in the middle of it, this was the best one I got despite the fact that you can't see her whole face.

While having Rudy model he wanted to loosen up, therefore I got a shot of him in his natural habitat.

Rudy began to lose focus in posing for my pictures that was ok because I got to get this nice picture.

Rudy was playing catch but I got a shot of him before he caught the juice box.

Rudy's face looks so sincere in this photo, like a young child that had no choice but to smile for the camera.
